Frequently Asked Questions

What is Occupational Therapy?
Occupational therapy helps you continue doing the everyday activities that matter most to you. Vision is very personal, and there is no one solution for everyone. Occupational therapy is a client centered approach working with each person, one-on-one, to provide practical strategies, tools, and home modifications to make daily activities safer and easier—helping you maintain your independence and confidence.
What is low vision?
Low vision refers to vision loss that cannot be corrected by medical or surgical treatments or conventional eyeglasses. Low vision rehabilitation focuses on helping you make the most of your remaining vision so you can continue doing the things that are important to you as safety and independently as possible.
